The ScanSnap iX2500 (PA03860-B005) is the new flagship of the ScanSnap family and the successor to the best-selling iX1600. It scans both sides of a page at 45 pages per minute, holds 100 sheets in its feeder, and lets anyone in the office pick their own scan profile on a large 5-inch touchscreen. With Wi-Fi 6 and USB-C it scans straight to a PC, Mac, phone or cloud app, so paper invoices, contracts, receipts and photos become searchable files in seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the iX2500 better than the iX1600?
Yes. It is faster (45 vs 40 ppm), holds twice as many sheets (100 vs 50), has a bigger 5-inch screen, Wi-Fi 6 and USB-C. Ricoh lists it as the replacement for the iX1600.
Does the iX2500 work with QuickBooks?
Yes. It can send receipts and invoices to QuickBooks Online through ScanSnap Home and ScanSnap Cloud. A QuickBooks subscription is not included.
Can I scan without a computer?
Yes. Over Wi-Fi it scans directly to the ScanSnap Home mobile app or to cloud services with a ScanSnap Cloud account.
Does it support TWAIN or ISIS?
No. It uses the ScanSnap driver and ScanSnap Home software. If your document system needs TWAIN, contact us before ordering.
