The ScanSnap iX1600 Receipt Edition (PA03770-B675) is the bookkeeping version of the world’s best-selling ScanSnap scanner. It comes preconfigured with a QuickBooks Online profile on its 4.3-inch touchscreen, so one tap scans a stack of receipts or invoices, reads the vendor, date and amount with OCR, and sends the data to your QuickBooks account for review. Does the ScanSnap iX1600 Receipt Edition include QuickBooks?
No. The scanner is preconfigured to work with QuickBooks Online, but you need your own QuickBooks Online subscription.
What is the difference between the Receipt Edition and the standard iX1600?
The scanner hardware is the same. The Receipt Edition adds a preconfigured QuickBooks Online profile, intelligent invoice and receipt data extraction, and a pre-installed receipt guide for feeding stacks of small receipts.
Can I scan without a computer?
Yes. Over Wi-Fi it can scan directly to a phone or tablet with the ScanSnap Home app, or straight to cloud services with a ScanSnap Cloud account.
Does it support TWAIN or ISIS?
No. It uses the ScanSnap driver and ScanSnap Home software. If your document management system requires TWAIN, ask us about a TWAIN-compatible model before ordering.
